Our History
Since the beginning with industrial facilities in the city of Itu, state of São Paulo, ALUFER was founded in 1962 by the entrepreneur Siro Palenga, one of the precursors of structural steel in Brazil, considered to be a true icon in the steel construction sector.
The experience gathered over the years, allied with the ongoing pursuit of quality and technological advance demanded by our Clients, has made us a landmark in the structural steel market.

We adopt a Quality Management, Environmental, Safety and Health system, certified by the international standards of ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environmental) and ISO 45001 (safety and health), constituting important working tools in our daily operations and comprising the activities of engineering, detailed designing, manufacturing and painting of steel structure for industrial plants and building.
We believe and invest in continuous improvements of our programs and systems, in order to ensure above all the safety of our employees and the quality of our processes and products, with special attention to preserving the environment.
It is of our responsibility to create favorable conditions to enable the understanding, implementation and maintenance of our programs and systems at all levels of the company, through the education and training of our employees, to perform their activities in accordance with our Integrated Management System (IMS) and with the applicable laws and regulations.

Industrial Plant
Our industrial plant is located in the city of Itu, state of São Paulo, less than 100 kilometers away from the city of São Paulo.
Occupying a total area of 60,000 m², it has facilities specifically organized to comprise all stages of the steel structure fabrication, equipped with automated lines of CNC machines.
It counts also with high-class technology for the treatment of surfaces and paint application, allowing a better quality of adhesion and cleanliness, besides representing a resource that reduces the environmental impact.
Staff
We count with a permanent and highly qualified staff for the rendering of engineering, project detailing, fabrication and assembling services. Our staff consists of professionals of a range of specialties within the areas of engineering, production and assembly, with tested and proven technical experience.
Being aware of the importance of the human capital to our competitive edge, we invest heavily in the qualification and ongoing training of our employees.

We are a founding and honorary member of the Brazilian Association of Steel Construction (ABCEM) , being our founder, Siro Palenga, considered a key participant in its formation and consolidation.
